I have been working ever so slowly on my tidal pool piece…have done a total of 20 hours now….with more than that to go i would say!!

Everyone seems to love what is evolving so far…but i guess time will tell once it is finished!!

back to beading now!!

OK OK i know i said i  wouldnt use these beads yet…but who couldnt resist!!!

I have used base metal findings, and a mix of beads- swarovski’s, czech fire polish and round beads, as well as a mix of glass pearls!

Ok so your thoughts are welcome – did i ruin the beads or did i hang them up perfectly??

I happily received my beads today!!! YAY

so here they are……i absolutely loveeeee them!!! like seriously!!!

OH so lovely arent they??

Today Nellie is coming down the mountain to bead!! YAY beading time…thats if the kids are all well behaved (which i doubt some how!!)

I will continue with my tidal pool creation…and nellie is not sure what she will do yet…she was having trouble deciding what to bring down!!

will be a nice day!!

p.s. oh forgot to mention i have made my first beading order for this year!! i bought a peacock bead and sea shells from Sally Shepherd who is a lampwork artist!! I will take a picture when i receive them!! It was the most i have ever paid for a bead $60, but i am most definently sure it will be worth it!! Thanks Sal!!

Alot of friends are starting the year with a bog, so i thought i would join the bandwagon too….not only cause they are doing this but more also for myself as an online creative journal of my year of beading, my thoughts, ideas, and images of all my beaded things for this year 2009!

Onto it i guess!

So far this year i have not completed a single piece of jewelry yet, but just cause i have not completed anything does not mean i am not thinking beads!! lol

I have started a piece for this weeks YOJ (year of jewelry – each week of the year on the beading forum { www.beadingforum.com.au } the lovely Anne Dundas throws a theme up to help us become inspired by simple words!!), the theme being Tidal Pool….but i am not going to finish this in time as my thoughts were too big for my nimble fingers to bead this week….but never fear i will complete this in due time….
